LAYERS.

Layers was a fuuuun one to make.

My “dolls” as I’ve previously described them, have become a common figure within my artworks and something that I use to explore a variety of thoughts

Their very uncanny valley biology is something that had been fleshed out across various works but never framed all together. So that’s what this piece very simply aimed to do. I drew the various layers of their body from their base organs, to their bones, their flesh coats, veins/circuitry, metal casings and plated exterior shells/skin.

Much of the context for how their bodies work is left unanswered as I plan to explore that more in depth in the future.
