Being the sister piece to Window Shopper, it’s just a more vague extension of that work’s ideas.

In terms of strengthening Window Shopper, there’s an almost bedroom eyed expression to the centered stare. Yet much like how laughing and crying can look the same, it could also be a perverse curiosity, the slightly opened mouth being a precursor of amusement as lips get ready to spread into a grin. The voided eyes make it hard to completely read or maybe their voided quality is something to read in itself. Potentially as some sort of underlying apathy on the character’s behalf.

Drawing this was cool and a neat exercise in the creepiness of how a character meant for a more simple style can be upped by adding too much detail. Such as drawing individual eyelashes or the waterbed of the eyes.
